For Brethren Colleges Abroad (BCA), this challenge came after outgrowing their existing office space at nearby Manchester College, and learning that they would need to relocate their offices to Elizabethtown College in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania.

Not only did thy have to move their entire base of operations, but due to Elizabethtown College’s expansion, they found that they would be inheriting the old college cafeteria to make their own.

When Steven Pierre, CFO for Brethren Colleges Abroad, found himself saddled with the title of “construction coordinator” for the project he knew he would need to find a design firm that could handle the project in its entirety.

“I met with four area companies who carried different brands and had different levels of service,” explains Pierre. “And right from the start it was a no-brainer. One Eleven was clearly the best and most organized by far.”
In fact, One Eleven immediately lifted Pierre’s burden by taking on the full challenge from demolition, to the complete reconstruction and furnishing of the space - taking the institutional cafeteria to a warm office space filled with new floors, ceilings, walls, and furnishings.

And to Pierre, the best part is that, “they have handled every detail from inception to completion and they did it all without me - which was great!”

“It has been amazing,” adds Pierre. “Even being located 10 hours from the worksite has been no problem. One Eleven has traveled to the space and has been able to work with the construction managers on-site with ease.”

“They have just made my life a lot easier,” adds Pierre. “They took this big, empty, institutional space and created an office plan that is perfect for our needs. We are so proud of our new offices and the dramatic change they have undergone. The burden of this large institutional space has become a blessing. We couldn’t be happier.”
